Water Seeped Motor Gasoline Tank, Do Not Dizziness

When racing in the rain, there may be owner of the Yamaha Scorpio happen to find water leaking into the tank motors. If it were so, other than to make the rust, the motor is turned on too hard. "Usually when the rain or washing, water seeped into the tank through the sidelines in the lid of the tank, especially for the life of the motor on top of two years," said Erik Arianto from Pit Bike shop in West Jakarta.

Cause, as of the pressing cap already weak due to frequent opening and closing to refuel. The solution, says Erik, per the press created an ideal rubber like new. Baseball need to be replaced, but enough so that a strong push stretched rubber.

Workmanship is not difficult and can be dismantled itself. Step, first off the tank cap. Notice the bottom of the compartment lid, there were two bolts that can be opened with a screwdriver. Erik says, cautiously opened the bolt on the inside because there lock, ring, and as an easy terberai.

Once the lock is removed, remove the house with a rubber ring attached to the tank lid. Then, at the bottom there were four of the rubber must be stretched. "One by one by taking them, then, with pliers, set reasonable distance of estrangement," Erik message.

If so, plug it in again with the reverse of the original process. Previously, clean all parts with a liquid penetrant tank cap to eliminate dust and dirt.
